My stint at exposure to a university occurred in the mid 60s in Maine (when the state was run by practical legislators and governors). Thus, I was able to study a wide range of subjects.
Long ago that was the kind of education called "liberal.
The rot in higher education was well underway by then, but the post war "scholars" who became university professors, some of whom preferred propaganda rather than factual information.
Back then, people with an 8th grade education understood that only two types of mammals existed. One type was female and the other was male.
We were taught that some folks were evil, such as Hitler and and his underlings and were worthy of generalized condemnation.
Now, in my 80th decade I read that there is an infinite range of genders among humans.
And that I am a bad person who says there are only two genders for most mammals.
I am not able to predict what other BS will become part of our national discussions.
